There is no place like this amazing 300m2 villa located in a secluded little pebble bay, a ten-minute drive from the town of Hvar.
Completely renovated in 2015 with recycled materials, island stone, polished concrete and wood, the villa is accessible both by car and by boat, with a private dock available. Its uniqueness lies in the very surrounding and carefully placed rooms, where every single one has a beautiful sea view or sunset view; every detail in the villa is carefully selected and thought through, with extraordinary colours and materials, combining the warmth of wood and hand-carved stone...
The bedrooms, 12 of them, are scattered on 3 different floors of the main building; but there are bungalows also, by the sea, next to the main building, with 3 additional double bedrooms.
Proteus from the season 2023 has 18 double bedrooms, 17 bathrooms and can accommodate with all the extra beds in use, 43 people total.
Four double bedrooms with sea view are located on the ground floor of the main building, just 5 meters from the Adriatic sea. Three double bedrooms are located on the first floor of the main building; two bedrooms with sea view and one bedroom with garden view. Five double bedrooms are located on the second floor of the main building; two bedrooms with sea view and three bedrooms with garden view.
Each bedroom covers approximately 22m2 and has its private large en-suite bathroom with a tub and a shower tray, a separate bathroom, eco-friendly vegan cosmetics, a small fridge, large 2x2m beds with 100% linen sheets.
Just a note – the beds in each room can be separated. Each room has a terrace area with lounge beds and a sitting area, all overlooking the bay and the sea. A housekeeper will keep them clean and tidy every day and provide fresh towels and sheets upon request.
A large common area is located on the first floor of villa Proteus, filled with warm materials and colours, decorated with artisan wood tables, TV, chairs, and small vintage bits and pieces. A book selection is also available to read and relax on the beach. A large glass wine fridge awaits with a selection of the best wines from all over the world and Croatia which the guests can order and have them at the ready upon their arrival. Additional toilets are available next to the common area.
This place also leads to the professional kitchen where the Chef carefully prepares the meals. The day will start with a breakfast consisting of local delicacies and organic fresh fruit and vegetables. Continuing with a nice lunch or dinner by a tailor-made menu suggested by our Chef based on guest preferences. Feel like going out? Your host will provide the most authentic places to turn a regular meal into an authentic experience that will create great memories.
Two large stunning terraces, both with spectacular sea view, make the rest of the common areas. Both ideal for an aperitif in the lounge, located on the first floor, or a seaside dinner with the freshest fish you can find on the top terrace, located on the second floor. If this is not enough, there is a garden uphill that leads to a yoga patio, located on the third floor (rooftop), perfect for meditation or a morning workout. P.S. You will be glad to know that the jacuzzi is located on the rooftop as well.
Small personalized postcards that the manager of the villa will send to your family and friends, straw hats, beach bags, kayaks, floaties, masks, stand up paddle boards and sunbeds will provide the ultimate relaxation experience and help recharge the lowest of batteries.
