Sweet Mnemosyne was built in 2018, and today you can rent it as one of the few 5-star villas on Hvar.
The interior size of the villa is 180m2. The exterior consists of a 30m2sea view terrace, a 50m2 terrace 50m2, and a small, nice Italian-design pool by Piscine Laghetto covering 8m2, that is, 4m x 2m.
Mnemosyine is a three-floor villa. It is suitable for nature buffs, countryside lovers, fine interior and designer detail admirers... and for all fans of Miele home appliances. No joke.
The ground floor is in fact separated from the two upper floors, so Mnemosyne could also be suitable for the two families who want privacy and peace, at least from time to time.
The ground floor has one bedroom with a queen size bed (160cm x 200cm) and a sofa that can serve as additional bed, if needed. It also has an entrance hall, a dining table for 8, a bathroom with a toilet, a TV satellite set, and two air AC units. This level also boasts a sauna. The ground exits to the lounge area and the pool.
The first floor of the villa consists of a dining area with a kitchen, a living room and a toilet, equipped with Bosch washer & dryer.
The kitchen, a design of Doimo cucine, has a central island with a marble top and it is also, as well as everything else, equipped with a dishwasher and a glass ceramic cooking surface, all Miele. In the kitchen you’ll also find a professional coffee machine, a hot plate heater, a fridge and a freezer, Miele as well.
A Calligaris sofa, a TV satellite set, and two AC units (hotel built-in) are part of the living room.
Mnemosyne has a large built-in wardrobe, so you will have plenty of space to fit all the clothes you probably took with you on your holiday unnecessarily, talking from our own experience.
The second floor is connected with the first floor with an indoor staircase which leads to two beautifully designed double bedrooms. Each bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with a toilet. All bathrooms are luxury designed in marble.
The first bedroom has a double king size bed (200cm x 210cm) and an additional sofa that can be changed to double bed size (180cm x 200cm), if needed. There is also a TV satellite set, a security deposit box, a wardrobe, AC, and most importantly – a sea view.

An old asphalted, narrow road that leads through the village to the amazing pebble beaches on the south side of the island, a 5-minute drive away, stretches in front of the property. You will also notice that the property is surrounded with abundant Mediterranean foliage. Above all, in the yard you can find a 150-year-old olive tree. If that is not added value, we don’t know what is.
Mnemosyne, no matter the size, is equipped like a true winner; beside everything we have mentioned already, it has a wine refrigerator, a grill barbecue, two outside lounge sofas, a sun bed, a hairdryer, an iron, two indoor fireplaces, and free WiFi, of course.
The villa has two parking places in front. Beautiful stone walls (1,8 meters high) surround the villa, so you can enjoy full privacy there. For your absolute peace of mind, the villa also has video surveillance.
This property is an unbeatably cosy place suitable for a family, even two families, or friends. For families it is a great choice despite the road in front as the big stone wall fence guarantees safety for all.
Though Mnemosyne reminds us of the past with its exterior style which fits perfectly into the historical village of Pitve, this villa is in general of a very contemporary spirit with its interiors of industrial, contemporary style and a lot of gadgets that suit today’s modern people.
We would say that Mnemosyne is a perfect combination of everything needed for an unforgettable holiday. This is the reason why it carries the name of Mnemosyne, the goddess of memory.
