Villa Features
Villa Geras is located in the very center of Jelsa, approximately 20-minute drive from the town of Hvar.
This Villa is one of those nice old houses in the old part of town, with one exception… It is actually a traditional Dalmatian house turned into a gorgeous traditional yet modern palace.
Villa spreads on 600m2. It was originally built in the year 1900 and the adaptation was done in 2013.
On the first floor there are four two-bed bedrooms with double beds, each with its own luxurious bathroom (shower units inside). Each room has AC and satellite TV.
On the ground floor there is also a modern, fully equipped kitchen with living room and dining room area that exits to the spacious terrace with Mediterranean garden and swimming pool (15m x 2.40m). There is a large table for 12+ in the dining room. Living room has one additional area with TV and another lounge area with sofas (extra beds). In the same area large gas fireplace is located.
Outside terrace is also equipped with large dining table and chairs plus additional garden furniture, sun beds and everything else that can make your holiday in the sun as enjoyable as possible.
On the ground floor, just between traditional stonewalls there is a round pool (24m2) and the sauna. During summer months swimming in the inside pool is very refreshing, while during winter it is nice and warm since the pool is heated.
Also, the floor heating is set in case you want to spend winter months here.
Ground floor has great surround sound system, which is very convenient in case you want to have an indoor party.
The owners are, just like the palace itself, a traditional yet modern cosmopolite types with the exquisite taste for both beauty and comfort. The result of their work is, indeed, visible in both exterior and interior of this Villa.
Since Geras is surrounded by high stonewalls, complete privacy is guaranteed.

Love at First Sight
Each morning she reminded him of a meadow filled with spring flowers. Her smile resembled a bouquet of daisies. She was just so beautiful. But Geras was weary.
She did love him, but he felt like he lived through one too many lives already. She was the only thing that made him joyous, but he felt like she was drifting away – drifting like the sand through his fingers and it was futile to squeeze his fists any harder.
One morning, after way too many aimless years, he decided they should change the setting. The voyage was long, but his goal had healing powers.
They arrived in Jelsa one warm June evening. As they entered an old stone house they felt this endless warmth, almost like walls were hugging them and telling them something.
They were confused at first, but they’ve decided to open their hearts instead of their minds for a change.
And the fairytale began.
They spent many nights listening to centennial stonewalls that witnessed many love stories throughout the ages. All the stories were happy stories – even those that had an ending.
Intoxicated with those magical tales they would fall asleep each night, just before dawn. They’d sleep peacefully in each other’s arms.
Over time she developed affection for the talking stonewalls and he was finally at peace with his age. He realized he was just tired of the illusion of getting old. He will live forever now. Within. On the meadow filled with spring flowers, in the walls of an old stone house.
