Our luxurious treat, cottage Auxo, is an irresistible blend of old and new, warm and cold, romantic and cozy. With a contemporary interior and traditional exterior, including a private swimming pool, Auxo is just the perfect place for a wonderful holiday experience.
Cottage Features
Cottage Auxo is situated above the center of a charming fishing town called Vrboska, approximately a 20-minute drive from the town of Hvar.
Cottage was originally built in 1972 and adapted in 2012.
The property spreads over a total of 450m2. The house alone covers 52m2, the covered terrace 30m2, the wine cellar 16m2, the pool 17m2, while the garden spreads across approximately 300m2.
The whole property consists only of a ground floor with 2 stairs on the entrance and 4 stairs on the terrace.
A quiet local road will lead you to the parking area in the back of the villa. A few steps away you will find yourself on the covered terrace with a dining table, ideal for breakfast in the open or a glass of wine over dinner. Or several glasses of wine, any way you like it!
The main entrance to the house leads to the living room with a kitchen. The living room has a sofa that can be an extra bed for two. This room leads to two bedrooms with twin beds and a bathroom. The first bedroom has a double bed and the other has twin beds.
The exterior of the cottage is just as beautiful as the interior. The beautiful garden that surrounds it is a combination of Mediterranean plants and stone tiles. Along with the lavender, rosemary and olives, there is a pool, outdoor furniture for lounging, a solar shower, and a handmade stone BBQ, which makes for an excellent partner when you crave a traditional Mediterranean gastronomic treat (and a healthy meal!) prepared with local sea delicacies.
The special surprise of Auxo is a small wine cellar underneath the house with a selection of the best wines from all around the island.
The whole property is surrounded by stonewalls so your privacy is guaranteed.
Another convenient perk of this cottage are its owners, young cosmopolitans with a great sense for beauty, both pleasant and kind and at your disposal 24/7 in case you need anything. You also get a warm smile!
Auxo, a small yet spacious island gem, is ideal for both a family and a group of friends. It is suitable for 4 adults, or 4 adults and 2 children. The location is also ideal for those who are looking for a quiet and beautiful place, close to the sea, with all the town facilities, but without the noise and crowd. The Mediterranean just as we like it.
We mustn't forget - when in Vrboska, take an evening stroll to Jelsa, a 30-minute walk along the sea through an area called Vitarnja. It will be a lovely, relaxing walk, take our word for it.
